Benita KarrollWhile in the music business In the mid 80’s, Karroll was interested in the concept of reducing stress and pain through Eastern medicine. She studied Oriental Medicine at Emperor’s College in Santa Monica, CA and the Tao Healing Arts Center in Venice, CA and was certified in Jin Shin Ryoho Acupressure, Swedish Massage and Shiatzu. Deciding to stay in the entertainment business while using her studies on chosen patients, her desire to use her certifications went from working on people to working on animals.

Karroll has been studying different modalities for small animals and has completed the Small Animal Massage program at the Ojai School of Canine Massage.
In an effort to help dogs and cats recover from disabling conditions, stress and work with them on rehabilitation, Karroll has started Paws Massage LA. She provides her services at various Veterinary locations, animal rehabilitation centers as well as at the pets’ homes.
